Evolve IP HITRUST Certified

Evolve IP (News - Alert) has announced it has achieved Common Security Framework (CSF) Certified status from the Health Information Trust (HITRUST) Alliance. This will guarantee the company’s cloud computing and cloud communications services abide by the proper security standards for electronic protected health information (PHI), private financial information, etc. With Evolve as a HITRUST provider, it can now help other companies become certified to deliver the same high, secure standards.


To obtain HITRUST certification, a company must adhere to a group of risk-based security and operational controls followed by third-party auditing and validation. This meets all of the essentials of HIPPA/ HITECH for healthcare safety, privacy, regulatory concerns. Compliance also meets 20 additional regulatory bodies or standards such as PCI (News - Alert)/DSS, ISO 27001, Sarbanes Oxley, and NIST.

Evolve IP went through a lengthy process, having its cloud communications services thoroughly examined and evaluated. This certification makes the Evolve IP OneCloud the first services provider to be able to offer healthcare teams and their organizations a unified, HITRUST CSF environment for both cloud communications and cloud computing services.
